Liquid Carbon

Does liquid carbon work? When I searched up a test I just saw liquid carbon vs. Co2, which doesn't say anything. We all new co2 would win. Have you guys ever tried what 2 tanks are like with and without liquid carbon, or know some science behind it. Some insight would be very helpful thanks.

I had ny tank for a month with no carbon additives and had slow growth so I tried liquid carbon for 2 months with no extra speed in plant growth. 1 week after installing a cheap DIY CO2 kit instead I noticed a huge difference.

With hindsight I see liquid carbon is just chemicals that are supposed to reduce algae. Although I still got green spot. Never again would I use liquid carbon!

Is it just me or does the liquid carbon have less plant growth?

Similar to the negative control I think, although a bit hard to tell with all that algae in it.

Oh that's algae. That makes more sense now, okay, yeah it seems to be similar then.
