My rainbows have been happily growing and getting along. 2 turquoise, 2 yellow, 6 millennium, 2 goyder river. All males except 2 of the millenniums are females, and they’re never picked on. I’ve had them for 7 months. No deaths, no disease, no problems. I recently added a power head for better movement and to see if they’d like it. How it was positioned the Goyder’s got very aggressive with each other (I’m guessing due to a river flow like their environment or maybe seasonal changes ? I don’t know). Never happened before. I moved the head so there’s a smaller area of flow if certain fish want it. Goyders don’t go in it. None of them do.
But now everyone seems happy but there’s a lump on one of my Goyder Rivers lips. It’s been there about 3 days. I know they bump stuff, but this seems bigger. Thoughts? Causes? Should I be concerned? Am I doing things wrong? Any help is appreciated!!
