Lionfish and Marine Betta

Could a volitans lionfish be in the same tank with a marine betta?

I cannot find any info on their compatability but they're both fairly large fish and need space. I have also read that its very difficult to get marine bettas to feed and thus they die ..apparently tho once feeding they're pretty hardy and easy to keep.
