Lighting. Too Much? Too Less? Please Advise

This is a 45 gallon tank, with some plants mentioning the names of whatever I know of - common bacopa, camboba, wild weed, amazon(I think). The tank has Phillips lighting, one 20watt tube light and one 18watt LED light. Is this light enough? See attached pic

If the fish are doing fine, the light should be fine. It’s kinda hard to tell from looking at the picture but go by how the fish are doing.

The fish is doing fine. I'm worried about the plants, some corners I see the light doesn't reach well

Hmm, I don’t really know much about plant lighting... you should wait for another response or do some research.

Thanks, I see you r a fan of tetras, so let me bug you with a question. My neon tetras have this issue going on..their tail gets a bit of fungus and bends...not all are having it but 2-3 out of 20 have it. Been treating with antI fungal drops but the success rate is slow..one of them is showing slight improvement. Parameters are fine..tank is heavily planted..and even their colors are bright

It depends what type of plants you have but some require higher lighting. From what I can tell, the ones you have look fine.

Hahaha, you like my username? Well I haven’t dealt with fungus on a fish before, but from what I know you should keep treating the meds for a few days. I highly recommend putting the infected fish in a quarantine tank, if you don’t have one, it’s ok, just watch the medicine because it’s never good to treat healthy fish with medicines. Try adding aquarium salt to the tank, that should help get rid of the fungus. You should do some research, I am sure you will find some more information on other websites. Keep me posted on their health.

One was ill yesterday, she died today few more have that twisted tail. I did try to quarantine one of the earlier one...it died even faster .. probably cause of stress. I ve been treating with meds for a week now. Most likely will move all the tetras to a different tank

Sad to hear. Have you added aquarium salt yet? I think that may be the most effective way if the meds aren’t working. Don’t put all of the tetras in quarantine, just the sick ones, so the healthy ones don’t get sick. Good luck.

Aquarium salt does very little. Can I see a picture of the twisted tail?

So the tail is really just bent. Have you heard of fish TB? Think your fish have it. One of the signs is skeletal deformity. Sadly there is no way of treating the fish. Wait did the tetra have a bent spine before you got him or did it just develop?

No Sarah, this happend over a period of time..they were fine when I got them. Will this spread across the rest of the population?

Quite a lot mollies, guppies, rainbows(they r a week old in this tank)
Ok, I don’t know what it could possibly be, is the fungus still there, I wish I could tell you if the other fish could get sick but I don’t know what the sickness is.

(Edit: If the fungus is there try the stuff in the link.)
