lighting my 210 gal tank Help

I was looking at some 36 '' t5 HO dual strips 78 watts. I was thinking of putting two of them on the tank. the only plants that will be in the tank is java moss and ferns.Or is that two much light

You actually have too little light. If its 1 watt per gallon for low light plants you actually have under that. you have 156 in your 210 tank. The java moss will survive for sure but the java ferns not sure. Don't really like plants.

High output lighting doesn't follow the watt per gallon rule. The WPG rule is for T8 lighting.

As you are wanting a low tech tank, you would have enough light to grow low light plants.

Agree with catsma. I had only 67W of lighting over my 5 foot tank for a year and a half and my Java Fern and Java Moss grew fine. If that's all you're wanting to keep then you'll have plenty of light.

yes, that is all I want in this tank, thanks eveyone for your hepl my oscars destroy the other plants LOL .
