Lighting For Plants In A 29 Gallon

Hello! So I just bought a 29 gallon tank. I currently am running a 12 gallon Marineland eclipse but wanted more lol anyway I’m doing a diy light/hood project and curious what kind of bulbs would be sufficient? I’m building on a budget so less is best thanks!

 

Any bulb that has a kelvin of 6500k-8000k is best for plants. I use a $6 reflector light fixture from home depot with 23W 6500K cfl bulbs.

Yup, they were like $12-13 for 4 bulbs. I bought the phillips brand.
