Hi, I am going to be setting up a planted 40 breeder with C02 was wondering if the Fluval Aquasky on my 55 would work for high light on a 40 since it isn't as tall or would I need something stronger

I'm no expert, but I believe you'd need a stronger light going to a taller tank, not shorter.

I would be moving the light on my 55 to my 40 not the other way around, I'm already in need of a better light for my 55 anyways, it is low light on my 55 would it work for medium to high light on a 40

I completely misunderstood your question, and I apologize.
