I'd like to find a medium to high range light (or lights) for this tank. It's eventually going to house my green sunfish and all the plants that are currently in a 40 gallon breeder.
My plant list is:
Bacopa
Golden Jenny
Ozelot sword
Microsword
Guppy grass
Java moss
Anubias
When I transfer everything over, I'd like to add some telecanthera cardinalis and start a carpet plant of some sort in the front half of the tank, while the taller plants stay in the back. I'd probably move the guppy grass to a different tank, because it grows like a weed.
So I'm wondering what the best lighting is. Do I need 2 four foot long lights for a carpet plant? Maybe a strong one in front and a weaker one in back?
I was looking on Amazon and came across the Finnex Fugeray planted plus. I think I like it. This one would probably be good in the front.
I also found the stingray. The description says it's a lower range light.
So if I combine the fugeray and the stingray, would that be okay? Or would 2 fugerays be better?
Or.....are there better light suggestions out there?
