Lighting for a 120 gallon fatboy

I'd like to find a medium to high range light (or lights) for this tank. It's eventually going to house my green sunfish and all the plants that are currently in a 40 gallon breeder.

My plant list is:
Bacopa
Golden Jenny
Ozelot sword
Microsword
Guppy grass
Java moss
Anubias

When I transfer everything over, I'd like to add some telecanthera cardinalis and start a carpet plant of some sort in the front half of the tank, while the taller plants stay in the back. I'd probably move the guppy grass to a different tank, because it grows like a weed.

So I'm wondering what the best lighting is. Do I need 2 four foot long lights for a carpet plant? Maybe a strong one in front and a weaker one in back?

I was looking on Amazon and came across the Finnex Fugeray planted plus. I think I like it. This one would probably be good in the front.

I also found the stingray. The description says it's a lower range light.

So if I combine the fugeray and the stingray, would that be okay? Or would 2 fugerays be better?

Or.....are there better light suggestions out there?

If you want a true carpet, you'll need CO2 and high light. There are other plants that give the illusion of a carpet where low or medium light will do.

In a 24 inch high tank, I'd go with the Ray2 over the Planted Plus if you want medium light. Alternatively, a Planted Plus and a Stingray might do the same thing (keyword is might, I'm not sure). You can get one 48" fixture to cover the entire tank (Ray2) though, and you can always add another if the light isn't high enough for you.

I think I like the pygmy chain sword for the carpet. I'm willing to go the Co2 route if needed.

For the light, since the tank is so wide, I thought 2 lights would be better. Unless I move it back and forth every so often.

I didn't think about that! 2 Planted Pluses would put you in medium/high I think, and 2 Ray2s would likely be high light (inject CO2 in the second case for sure, and probably the first case too).

Pics when you get them setup!

It will be set up eventually....but I have at least 4 more weeks where I have to work 45+ hours/week and I just feel like sleeping when I'm at home
