I have a 5 gallon tank that I’m currently working on planting for now. There’s a bit of hornwort and an amazon sword in there currently, as I’ve just decided to plant it. I’m obviously planning on getting more plants, and a bit of driftwood. However, algae is growing mighty quickly, and I’d like to know how long to set my timer for so the tank doesn’t get an algae problem. Thank you!

Around 8 hours a day is good, but set your timer to do it in blocks.

Like 4 hours on, 2 hours off, 4 hours on.
