Light spectrum for plants (Dwarf grass)?

Ben777

Hi, I am enjoying the new programmable LED light for my 16 litres nano tank (Fluval Nano Led for plants)!

But I am not sure how to set a good light color spectrum. I can control these light spectrum parameters: pink (red?), blue, cold white, pure white, warm write.

Should I just have everything on the maximum? Or just one - two colors? Which ones? Anything to avoid? Please, share your experience.

The plants in the tank: carpeting grass (Eleocharis). Also some cherry shrimps and 5 endlers.

Thanks in advance! :)

Good question!

I am searching for my 4th light for my new tank and am striking out. Reason being, I want a stock 24/7 program to run. I have no idea what is optimal for the different spectrum. And then you throw in sunrise/sunset/moonlight... I'd just as soon let the light's maker figure it out. Even though I wish my Finnex would give me more darkness. Still... it's not the tank getting brown on its glass...

I'll be watching this thread with interest.
