Light For A 2 Gallon Walstad?

I have been driving myself crazy looking for a light that is the correct strength and size for my 2 gallon tank at work. My goal is to replace the light it came with to turn it into a Walstad tank consisting of mainly low light plants. When I remove the lid the tank is only 7.5x7.5 inches and most lights on Amazon start at 8 to 10 inches...

I want to keep this budget friendly as well considering this is at work and I'm afraid if I get something fancy like a Fluval light someone might steal it...

If there aren't any actual aquarium lights that fit this, are there any desk lamps that can work safely? I can try to diy a new acrylic lid to prevent the light from getting wet but I'd rather leave it open top if possible.

Go to Wally world and get a clip on desk lamp for 7 bucks. A bulb of your choice for 2 more bucks. And let there be light

That's probably the route I will go. Do I have to worry about evaporation breaking the light if I leave it without a lid?

Not really, just off set it and angle it a bit. Mine are right over a sponge filter out flow and they just need the bulb cleaned with a rag to remove calcium.
