Light for 10 gallon to grow both red and green plants?

Hello everyone! I am looking for some light recommendations for my 10 gallon planted tank that I’m going to focus on growing a mix of red and green plants. I’ll be growing some water sprite, dwarf hair grass, Monte Carlo, rotala both red and greens versions, and red root floaters. And another reddish stem plant(forgot the name). I’ve been looking at a couple lights from fluval not really sure which one would be best for 10 gallon… also looked into kessil. Any advice would be really helpful thank you !

I assume the Fluval Planted 3.0 should be plenty but at that price you can easily go for a Twinstar light as well which you may like more than the Fluval 3.0.

Are you doing Co2?

Without Co2, you may not achieve the reddest plants but you will still get some color. I would look into the CA and EA series (B or CA series) of the twinstar light which would be well suited for your medium tech tank. Do you plan on using aquasoil?

I would also use some root tabs in the sand as well. Since you won't be using aquasoil or Co2 then I would just go with a Twinstar CA or B series.

Or you could do with a Nicrew Skyled Plus off of Amazon which has gotten my plants to stay a decent pink color. Make sure to get the 18-24'' size if you get that light for the 10g.

I’m curious if you had any advice on liquid co2 boosters, are they even real/effective?? And maybe if you could recommend a good brand that sells actual canister Co2 if I do change my mind.

The liquid co2 boosters do not give any Co2 to the tank. If anything they are okay to use when you have algae as it can sometimes help with it. But it does not give any Co2.

I am not sure if there are brands for the canisters. Any will probably work as long as it is stamped and not expired. I assume you mean brand for the Co2 regulators. I bought a used Co2 Art regulator that has been working really well for me. There are a couple of good brands for the regulator if you look them up. Buying used is always more affordable, I will say.
