Ok so I have been absent from the site for a bit but I'm making a comeback now!
The reason for the absence was the addition of......(yeah I wish more tanks lol)
A HOUSE!
My fiancee being the most wonderful woman that she is has allowed me to take over one of the bedrooms and make my very own fish room!
So now that all the fun of paperwork and moving in is done, and all the great joys of unpacking are beginning I'm trying to find time to work on the tanks and setups. It is slow going but its going to work eventually.
The fish took the move as best as can be expected for moving in December. I lost 1 of my dwarf corys and I have yet to find the Otos in my 75gal Jungle (which has been completely unplanted and looks a complete disaster. I am not holding out tons of hope for them due to the change in the water chemistry. All my other fish have made it with flying colors thou so that I am happy about.
I had rescued a bunch of fish a while back and have since rehomed most, the only ones that remain were the khulI loaches which have joined the school in my 75 and are having a great time with the rest of them. The tiger barb was added in with the black skirt tetras for the time being so that I didnt have to setup the 10gal tank just for him. I was hoping that the tank with more fish would help the shyness he has but so far it has not. He still just hides in the corner and ocasionally checks out the tank. In the coming months he will be moved into a tank of his own with more tiger barbs but for now that has to wait.
Anyways just wanted to update the group on lifes little endeavors.
