I have to wait another 6 hours until the fourth. My family usually doesn't do much to celebrate, but we'll be watching the fireworks tomorrow.

I am happy for my country's birthday, but I wish my neighbors would quit shooting fireworks, as it is WAY too dry here.

For fireworks, I will soak the yard as much as I can and only hope to do some fountains and sparklers.

Thank goodness I haven't even heard a fire cracker.
We had a little rain yesterday but not enough.

It has been raining a ton here in FL latly ( it is rainy season after all) so I will be setting off fireworks all night after I go buy them in the morning also good I live by a lake incase of a fire

Lol ya nothing like setting of fireworks catching the yard on fire then running threw the yard to the lake and asking the gator to barrow some water lol

But no I won't start a fire if it happens by accident it does (hope it doesn't )
But in my back yard there is a 3 foot drop off then about 6-8 feet out is grass and I think the gators have nest there because they are always there at night if they have babys I want to catch one and raise it

For the first time in several years, my wife doesn't have to work this weekend, which is awesome. Tough to save babies when you've had no sleep because the neighbors seem to trade off who's going to shoot off fireworks until about 4am.

Happy 4th everybody! To dry for fireworks here as well, but there will still be BBQ ribs, baked beans, grilled corn, potato salad, mac and cheese, corn bread and watermelon

I am spending the 4th with my brother and sister in law they both just got back from Iraq. And leave again in August to go back. Happy 4th everyone.
