Haha, she is normally a white silkie but I like to dye her as it’s safe and it can help keep the predators like hawks away from her bc she is older and she’s got a little arthritis so she can’t move as fast as the others to get away

What other pets, besides aquatic fish and inverts, do you keep/kept?

Other pets I have kept:
Ants (A few species)
Black Emperor Scorpion
Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula
Gecko (Mediterranean gecko and leopard gecko)
Fire Belly toads (2)
Praying mantis (too many too count)
Edit: A hamster

I am probably forgetting some. I have been keeping animals since I was 4, so its hard to remember and keep track. I tried to leave out the smaller unimportant animals like caterpillars and ladybugs and stuff.

Edit: I also have a dog, a female yorkie named Lucy

We have three dogs - all mixed rescues. Gwennie is a dachshund and perhaps spaniel or sheltie mix; Nittany is possibly black mouthed cur and Wheaten mix; Hamilton is supposed to be poodle/shepherd mix. I have a goldfish that I'm keeping (perhaps permanently) for my granddaughter. Gwennie has noticed the fish and will sit and watch her. We have a bird feeder outside and Gwennie and Hamilton like to sit and watch the birds as well.

I have three small humans. Their care consists of much more than daily feeding and weekly water changes.

They interfere significantly with the time I'm able to spend on my tank. But they're worth it!

1 yellow lab cichlid, 4 red top Hong. But I think they may be yellow top instead. I didn’t know that was an option.

I have two dogs, one is an almost 12 year old mutt, and the other is an almost 3 year old rescue German Shorthaired Pointer. Second GSP I have had, and they are my favorite breed. My mutt is my fav dog right now though; cause we’ve been together for over a decade now

I took all the photos off my phone a few weeks back, so no pictures of my old lady, and only one not great photo of the rescue. Love them though. The fish are much newer. I’ve had them about a month now

This is my dog Archie.

He isn’t fat but I call him “fat dog” sometimes.

To me he is very cute so when I get cuteness overload I call him “My Meat” or “Archie Meat”

This is my birb BeeBee.

She is very floof and likes to get the scratch.

She likes seed and is a chunky Borb.

This is Spike.

He is a cute lil boy.

I call him “Spiku” most of the time.

I call him Spike when near others so I don’t ruin his reputation.

Happy boi he is King.

These are my pups. The black lab is Tucker, he is 11.5 years old and the absolute BEST dog. We got him a puppy in October and he is not too happy about it. Chief is the chocolate lab. He is only 6 months old and is 70lbs of pure trouble.

If a pelican and a bunny that you feed outside is a pet...

Would an ever increasing cricket army multiplying by the day inside Spiku's tank be considered as pets?

I mean I like to think of the crickets as little peasant villagers and that they have to give cricket sacrifices to their god and ruler Spiku in order to survive.

I guess I would call the colony "The Mayans" in that case...
