Admittedly it is early but since England is in another national lockdown and everyone is miserable, I decided that christmas starts early this year.

2020 has been pretty terrible so I thought sharing our Christmas stuff would cheer everybody up. I know I love to see decorations so let's see all your Christmas related stuff!

I won't bring any Christmas decor down from the attic until after Thanksgiving. It seems advertisers are bringing out their Christmas ads earlier every year. Before long they will start running them the day after Easter. They started long before Halloween this year

I am thrilled to see Christ hasn't been taken out of Christmas on this thread. I guess if I had a pet peeve it would be Christ being replaced with an X.

BTW: Your little 2 year old done good I am sure s/he is very proud of it.
Actually, the "X" in Xmas comes from the Greek for Christ, Xristos. Sorry I don't know how to do the greek characters on this laptop, but anyways, in Greek 'Christ' sounds like 'Kreestoes' and it is spelled with an X

I always had real trees when I lived in the states, but they aren't a thing over here. I finally got a really decent 'fake' though.

Edit: the New Testament was written in Greek, hence the Xristos

Edit: it doesnt actually look that good because my toddler keeps taking all the decorations off the tree...
My youngest is finally old enough where we can put the ornaments on the bottom of the tree. She and her sister are BIG Christmas fans

Not yet...he hasn't knocked it down! He likes to hide in it and try to steal my Runza though

Runza!? Haha, fellow Nebraskan. I thought I had seen somebody's bio say Nebraska. Where do you live? My folks are still in York.

Your porch is amazing! I love it and the decorations!
I have 2 larger trees, but I did not feel like putting them up. too much wok, lol

I have a small tree from wallmart that I am using it's maybe 3-4 feet tall. I also have 2 one foot tall trees.

I went Nordic - lots of white & green this year. I redid my wreath over mantel , removed brown ornaments & added a light green pick to it. I love it now.

It's a closet door.

Ok. I’m just picturing myself being crushed by a tree while trying to get to the bathroom late at night.

Lol! I wouldn't put it near the door. It's safer in the corner. Biggest hazard is the cat

Lol! Nope never near the door. My dog enthusiastically runs through while playing. It's safer in the corner. The biggest hazard is the cat occasionally batting an ornament. I have a bunch of really heavy glass balls that won't break if she plays with them towards the bottom. My bird ornaments with feathers stay near the top, along with anything super fragile.

I put our tree up quite early this year, around November 15 if I remember correctly. I usually wait till after Thanksgiving, but with work playing Christmas music and already bringing out the decorations I couldn't wait any longer. Plus, it never lasts very long if you wait till December, time flies these days.

I normally decorate around my tanks a bit, such as put colored paper up in between the betta tanks, but being that I don't have any of my tanks anymore I really don't have much to decorate.

Aren’t cats great. Surprisingly, my cats haven’t started nesting in the tree this year. That, or they’ve gotten smart enough to do it when I’m not around. It’s probably the latter.

My cats aren't smart enough for that. Pretty sure if my furry boys were human children, they would be in some special needs class with lifetime disability....just like our human boys!
