Led Light Question Question

    In most cases this is a high light due to the 8000K range. This is a bit high since usually your aiming for a 7000k range but the 1000K difference shouldn't be noticable.

    Low-high light doesn't refer to the color temperature (K), it refers to the PAR measure the lights give out, or if PAR info isn't available, the intensity of the light :)


    The highest tech lighting for plants are almost always LEDs, but they have to be LEDs designed for plants. These are not designed for plants, so I would assume low light, especially on a large tank where light has to travel a long way through the water.
