In most cases this is a high light due to the 8000K range. This is a bit high since usually your aiming for a 7000k range but the 1000K difference shouldn't be noticable.

Low-high light doesn't refer to the color temperature (K), it refers to the PAR measure the lights give out, or if PAR info isn't available, the intensity of the light


The highest tech lighting for plants are almost always LEDs, but they have to be LEDs designed for plants. These are not designed for plants, so I would assume low light, especially on a large tank where light has to travel a long way through the water.
