Hi,
I inheritied a simple LED light and a power supply.
On the down side of the light, there's a sticker warning: "Do not submerge!"
The power supply has no brand on it, and it is the old-fashion type (big and heavy), and 12-volt, 800mA.
so I think this power supply was purchased at Radio Shack-like store or something.
I tried this power supply on the light, and it seems to work just fine.
But it does not seem very bright. Still, it would be perfect for my breeding tank.
Question: is it safe to use any old generic power supply on an aquarium light?
