I use Indian almond leaves and alder cones in my tank, but I was wondering if leaves like guava and cacao would be ok? I have big bunch of these but a small shrimp tank where I'll never use them all. I imagine it's safe since shrimp are pretty delicate, but I'd love be sure.

Hi, I’ve never used that kind of leaf, I use oak & beech, but if your shrimp are ok with them then I would imagine corys would be too, hang on for some other opinions.

Thanks! Yea, I've heard of those, they look so nice in a tank. Unfortunately all the trees around here are maples. Maybe next tea I make I'll throw in 1 guava leaf and see how it goes. Trying to cure some stubborn fin rot and I want them to get max tannins and antibacterial.
