Been tooling around here for the last 24 hours or so (I have a four year old, so I don't sleep much!) getting information and making shopping lists to move my Betta into his new home here in sunny Sacramento.
I cannot thank everyone enough for their input. Though none of it has been specifically geared to my needs, all of my questions have been answered, either on the site, or in the forum. The Betta section of the forum has a wonderful moderator in Rose, and a very compassionate and devoted group of folks.
I'll be around for a while - I'd forgotten how wonderful it is to have fish in the house. The room seems more full of life and peace already. Cheers all - I'm back into a rather expensive and addictive habit! (the only hobby that starts you off with a 5 dollar fish and costs you $100 in equipment!!) The fish was a consolation prize because I cannot keep a flower alive more than a week - but have a good history with fish.
