L129 Looking For Expert/master On Care/keeping

I bought two of these fish not long ago and 1 died fairly immediately. The other stayed in the tank for quite awhile but died this morning. I thinking feeding was a problem as both bellies were sunken in, perhaps stress from being alone for the last one. I've read every article I could find, I fed blood worms, I tried cucumbers, algae wafers, carnivore sinking pellets(hikarI brand), mysis shrimp, Raw shrimp(Kroger brand). Just didn't seem to work. Maybe i'm over stocked, idk. Water parameters are fine. I'm looking for someone that has kept this fish before and can tell me more than the articles.

Currently stocked fish in 55gallon
1 "King" betta halfmoon
11 Harlequin Rasboras
2 Emerald corydoras
2 Bronze corydoras
2 JulI Corydoras
2 Bristlenose-Common-Juveniles
4KuhlI Loaches-Juveniles

Currently trying to order 2-3 more.

Your stocking really isn't good at all. You have three different species that need 6 of the same kind each! You aren't overstocked, but you aren't correctly stocked. You need to add at least 2 more kuhlis. Sunken belly could be from not feeding enough or parasite.

Well, the bronze's were suppose to be emeralds but it's hard to tell so I listed them as bronze. All the catfish do fine and school with each other. I don't see what that has to do with the L129's though. I'm aware it could be parasites and not eating. Funny enough, I did order 6 kuhli's, however they escaped into the sump when they got to the local fish store cause they were so small, they have doubled in length since then and eat voraciously on meaty things, are out and about in the aquarium often times. I might also say that searching "mixing species of cories" on this forum will show a few articles where veterans say they can mix and be fine. Thanks for the reply.

I am just telling you. Just because you think they do "fine" with each other they need 6 of the same species each. What did you feed your pleco's? DoubleDutch

Did they come in with a sunken belly? Plecos aren't one that really needs company.
I would honestly suggest getting some plecocaine from aquabid as it has encouraged several sunken bellied plecos I have picked up to eat and then they took other foods once they got used to the tank. I feed my plecos (I have had royal, gold nugget, and several other species beyond my current bristlenose) a mix of plecocaine, omega one shrimp pellets, wardley shrimp pellets, algae wafers, green bean sticks, and crab cuisine for dry foods. I feed zucchini, cucumber, sometimes peppers, and other veggies just depending on what I have for them (or what I have grown for them, waiting on pumpkins right now).

I know the first one did have a sunken belly. The second one was better but I thought they would eat up and be fine. I did witness #2 eating on 2 occasions. From what I've read online they prefer some conspecifics to be kept well. Looking up plecocaine

The l129 I delt with was fed mostly with algae wafers, generally several times a week (I did not purchase her despite her beauty and knowing she was female).

Mcasella What do you mean dealt with? and that's counter intuitive to everything I've read.

That I had spent watching for about 6 months during the time she was in the store, she remained healthy however she came in with a healthy stomach. They are omnivores, so algae wafers are't terrible for them. They prefer meatier foods (and it helps them gain or maintain weight).
