They must have done this before! All the other fish know where to go for stray eggs.
I guess the Christmas tree lights made them feel romantic, LOL.
Yeah, the other fish usually let me know something is up. In the 55, I know when the chanchitos spawn because all the other fish are on the other side of the tank. That's the first time I've seen the kuhlis spawn. Must be the lights! Cause it sure wasn't anything I did.
Congrats...one day mine will spawn...lol
Wow I've never known anyone who was able to spawn kuhlies. Congrats I believe it's pretty rare in captivity.
It's cool n_n
So I've heard Like I said, nothing I did, and as far as I know that's the first time.
Love is in the air
Just curious, what is hour pH in this tank?
i have no idea. I don't test my water. But I have the ability to so I will.... How long do I wait to compare color?
Soon as it's shook, I think.
Yup. The instant you shake the tube you can compare it.
hopefully the pic is good enough to determine - I don't have a chart.
It is hard to tell...it doesn't register on my color chart...the vile looks bluish gray to me
I wish I could tell you what it is, but pH is not something I care about so the chart has been lost or tossed.
Maybe it expired or something, Like AP I don't have a color like that on my chart. or maybe its a saltwater test? If its freshwater my guess would be 7.2-7.6 :;sh
No, it's not expired and it's freshwater. I bought it this year for experimentation and verification purposes. First test kit I've ever owned. I'll try another tube...
Here is the color chart for pH
Looks like maybe 7.6, I like to do a high range and a normal range because they split around that value, it help narrow it down imo.
