Kuhli loaches sand depth?

I am going to get a 20 gallon tank but I only have 10 pounds of sand. It will be half an inch on the bottom. Is it enough?
I will have 5 KuhlI loaches and 5 Oto catfish.

 

Yep that's totally fine. Theyre more sifters and will prefer to hide under objects rather than in the sand itself. Add some oak leaves or indian almond leaves, they love hiding under leaves and logs!

 

i'd add 7 harlequin rasboras and a betta!!

Only thing is id go to 6 instead of 5. They will come out more.
