Kuhli loaches (or coolie loaches, whichever you prefer)

Does anyone have any experience with kuhlI loaches? I see them in books and on websites and they look soooo cute! (probably because I like snakes). Do they have any special requirements or stuff like that that I should know about? I want to get a few if I ever get a bigger-than-10-gallon tank (my 10 gal is going to be maxed out with the new addition(s)).

Emma I have KuhlI Loaches and they are just fascinating. Heres a lik to my tank.

They are really easy to take care of and will eat anything that hits the bottom.

I hav had quite a few kuhlis and hav thought they are a really good adition to any aquariums. however if u hav a filter that they can get in to put a stocking over it or they WILL swim in it and behead themselves. I hav had this with 2 of mine until I put a stocking over it. I hav 2 atm and they hav lived in some really bad conditions but most of the time it is good and they hav lived for like 1yr now or more. they are really good

I have had coolie loaches before they spent most of the time buried in the gravel but came out at night
