I'm am pondering the question of getting a kuhli loach to add to my 10G aquarium currently holding a 2.5 inch Vanilla Craw and 1 Dwarf Gourami. My tank substrate is gravel and I am wondering if it would be ok?

I think a 10 gallon is too small for a kuhli loach. They need more space to swim around. They prefer sand. Gravel might be a little too rough for them and can possibly hurt them over time.

Just like aquaticbrandon said, the tank is too small, they need sand and you also need a small school of them to keep them happy.

Kuhli loaches should be kept in groups & 10 gallons is too small for them as they may be small but can be very active.
Gravel if it's very fine & rounded not sharp can be ok for them but sand is better.
