Krylon Fusion question source???

I have read here and elsewhere that Krylon Fusion for Plastics (once fully cured) can be a safe sealant for DIY tank decor. I have a project in mind so I went to the paint store to get some. In talking about what I wanted to do the store person said they thought it would not be safe for a tank because of the solvents in the paint. I forgot to mention the point of letting the paint fully cure in the store. Is that the basis of the different opinions here?
Thanks

It should be fine. Do several thin coats then let it dry for a about a week. Rinse it off in dechlorinated water and you're good to go.

Ok, does this stuff even exist currently?? I've hit my local hardware, paint and auto part stores. Don't have it, can't order. Can find everything but the clear coat on Amazon. Struck out online at Walmart, Ebay, Lowes, and several others. Anyone out there hook me up with a source please?

All my reading over the years even on reef sites never said one bad thing about using Krylon .
Someone on one site wanted to say it was all bad since Krylon themselves would not say it was safe for aquarium use !
The paint is made to bond to plastic that is what they sell it for ..I would paint let dry and rinse as mentioned ..
Really should be safe ..

Hope so. I already struck out at a couple of those listed places.

Going to start some plan B research here just in case. Krylon Fusion All in One says it works on plastics, and I can find it. Anyone have experience with it?
