Kribensis female chasing male

HI I have just gotten a pair of juvenile kribensis. The female likes to hide in the cave I have provided them with and usually when the male goes in there she chases him off. Is this normal?

This is all part of the courtship ritual that a pair of Kribs go through
Do not disturb them and observe, and before you know it the female will lay eggs on the cave roof
Then 6 days later - babies ( I think its 6 ? )

Yeah it's normal. Eventually she will want him in there. If they are young yet she may chase him off until they're more matured. As long as they aren't doing any damage to each other I wouldn't worry about it.

Kribs have a very dynamic relationship, often quite volatile. Just when you think they're going to kill each other, they end up spawning. Go figure.
