Kribensis bullying problem

I recently added a blue ram to my tank, along with 2 pearl gourami 2 bala shark 1 red tail 3 corys along with my Kribensis , the kribensis was doing fine until I added the blue ram last night and it began bullying any fish near by or in its path, even charging across the tank. I have a 20 gallon tank. Could it be that it's too crowded for the Kribensis to have its own space? Maybe because the ram is from the cichlids family? Other then that I cannot think of another reason why the Kribensis behavior changed so drastically.

Any other ideas? Will the Kribensis calm down eventually or will I have to remove it from the tank?

Unfortunately your tank is way overstocked, and two bottom dwelling cichlid species will not get along in a 20 gal tank under most circumstances.

Your pearl gouramis, bala sharks, and red tail shark are all too large for this size tank. You should rehome them and either the kribensis or the ram. I don't think they'll get along.

What species of cory are they?

Panda corys, figured the bigger fish would outgrow eventually. Set up my first tank planning on upgrading eventually.
Thanks for the advice, going to bring back my kribensis today , maybe pick up a Dwarf Gourami.

I would fix the stocking problem before adding onto it making it worse.

Bala Sharks need minimum 125 gallon with a group of 5 as they are a shoaling species and get very large.

Red tail needs at least a 40 gallon and can be very aggressive and territorial.

Pearl gourami also need at least 40 gallon and can be nippy/territorial.

I'd even say 48" long minimum for the red tail. And pearls are one of the most peaceful gourami, but they'll definitely out grow this tank.

Agreed, rehome all of these fish before you add any more.

You have some temperature differences between the cories and the ram, so I'd rehome either the cories or the ram too.

I hope it's very large for all of these fish. Stock for the tank you have, not the tank you want.
