Krib suddenly a bully

Well I went to Petco today and there was one GBR in a tank with a bunch of fish he shouldn't be with. I "had" to get him out of there. This was honestly my first ever impulse buy, but something said this guy needed a good home.

I put him into my 75 today and unfortunately my female crib has been chasing the GBR all over the tank almost non stop. The ram fought back once but has sense been trying to stay away. I've also now noticed my Krib nipping at my Cory cats which she has never done. Oddly enough my Krib has colored up very brightly since this began today. (Any reason why?)

I'm dealing with the "why would you mess up such a well behaved tank" thought right now. I'm currently setting up my 96g corner tank, so I could always move the GBR there, but I'm wondering if I should do something sooner or does this behavior happen at first and possibly die down in a day or two?

Thanks!

The Krib has colored up because it's a cichlid thing. My unidentified cichlid male (yea I know weird) really colors up after its bullied someone or something... So you most likely have a dominant male and it feels it has to be top dog, or fish in this case.

I'm pretty sure the Krib is a female though. Guess I could be wrong!

The top dog mentality, does this usually calm down once they think everyone gets it?

Well you just put new fish in, so it's being a bit territorial. Just monitor behavior for a day and see what happens.

That's a male. Pointed dorsal fin with color all the way up and tail is more pointed than rounded as well.

Still some nipping from the Krib towards the GBR today. I'm setting up a 30 gallon for my danios and white clouds. I will probably put the GBR in there.

GBRs need a higher temp than danios and white clouds. As do kribs.....

Danios and minnows need temp to be 64-75 range. GBRs need 80-82.
