Killifish that dont jump?

Hello! I was thinking of buying some aphyosemion or notho killifish but now I am starting to think its not such a great idea, I'm torn! Id love to keep some Killis, IMO the best looking fish out there, but I don't want them jumping. With a HOB filter will I have to get a custom lid? Ive also heard floating plants help, but I plan on planting the tank and don't want to block out the light for the plants. So my question is are there any kilis that don't jump? Or would a coustom lid even work?

Why don't you just get a hood that have cutouts for filters and such? I think glass lids also have vinyl in the back that you can cut.

I am worried about using glass, I've heard it lowers par quite a bit, but if there is an easy way to do it Id love to try

Clean glass does not significantly affect the light. The trick is keeping it clean. Gary Lange polishes his tank cover glasses weekly, as he takes a lot of photos. Personally I think he's a bit too picky, but he does take some nice pictures.

You can't keep Killifish without a full lid. Internal air powered filters, such as sponges, allow you to cut just a small corner of the lid for the airline to pass through. Even so, if the cut is too big, some fish can still squeeze out.

The tank is a 20 long and I am planning on using a AC 50. Should I use another filter? Are there any internal filters you suggest?

I'm thinking of using a fluval 206 now, I could make 2 small holes for the intake/outtake
