What size tank and what parameters are your water? What are the tank mates? How did you acclimate?

It's a 20 gal, I have about 10 neon and guppies, and a pair of german blue rams. When I started to acclimate them, I opened the bag and placed in the water to get them used to the temperature, left them there for 30 before adding a cup of my tank water, waited another 15-20 mins before adding another cup, then after another 15-20 mins I let them in my tank. And the tank's temperature is 78 F

How old is your tank? Was it properly cycled?

I just got the tank last week, and I'm not sure if it was properly cycled as I'm new to all the stuff

There are plenty of posts on here about 'cycling' and the 'nitrogen cycle' that you will need to know. Your tank may have high ammonia or other parameters that are dangerous to the fish since the cycling process takes longer than a week.
