Keeping African Dwarf Frogs

I was thinking about setting up a ten gallon and getting some african dwarf frogs. I was wondering how many I can get in a 10 gallon. I also wanted to know just some general info about them. There should be a section on this forum for aquatic amphibians that are kept in fish tanks, like ADFs and African Clawed Frogs. Ive also seen some newt like amphibians in LFSs that look pretty cool. I'm not thinking about getting one, but there should be a place on this forum to talk about them.
Also, what should I look out for in terms of anything that frogs can get stuck under. Ive got a couple of large rocks. Should I not put them in the tank? I was thinking about filling it with driftwood. I really like driftwood.

I agree on the driftwood. I have a large piece in my 29gal that is essentially a semicircular log. It looks like a log, but from the ends, it forms a 12" or so long tunnel through the tank. My 3 ADFs love it under there, and behind it where I have lots of (fake) plants for cover as well.

I've got some cool pieces of driftwood with some interesting holes and cavities in them so I think they would like that. I have those pieces in with my Bettas right now, so I would have to buy some more. I also like the Anubias on driftwood from Petco. I have one. My betta loves swimming in the hole in it though so I don't know if I want to separate him from that. I really want another one but they sell out so fast.

just remember that the wood is not sharp or their tiny little body will be hurt!

other wise, great! good luck!

I now own 6 little guys, 3 females and 3 males. They love their little Rock cave and driftwood cave. They are actually more active in a group. I started out with two and they rarely came out. Now they swim and move all over the place. They are fun to watch

Nice pictures, I like the look of your tank, great set-up for frogs! My frogs do live in the same kind of environment

I have 2 ADFs (male and female) and a betta in a 6.6 gallon Walsted aquarium. I have a piece of driftwood that the froggies like to burrow under.

Frogs like to hide underneath things so just make sure that whatever you get that they can get into they can easily find their way out of.

I had a moss ball that wasn't looking good( I wasn't rinsing/squeezing it when doing water change) I tear it apart and ended with a flat moss ball (a few pieces still attached together), put it in my quarantine tank to discover that my frogs really like to hide under it!
