Is that anubias stuck in the substrate on the left? If so, pull it out. It will die with the rhizome buried. Same with the java ferns. Pull them out of the gravel.

How are you supposed to plant those ?

You can bury them, just don’t bury the rhizome. It’s the long, green horizontal stem that the leaves come from. Make sure that part is sticking out. You can also tie it or stuff it into your decorations.

You don't "plant" them per say. Those are plants that are usually attached to rocks, driftwood, etc. You can put the roots in the substrate, just not the rhizome. Usually the roots aren't strong enough to hold them down, at least not until theyre really established. But having them planted like you do will definitely kill them.

I just tied them all to rocks
