I think your chosen fish can get pretty big. I'm not sure if this mix works well in a 150 gallon tank.....but surely others know.

Bala Sharks get up to 14"
I personally wouldn't keep them in a tank that has less than 24" in it's narrowest direction, and even then probably not. They're pretty active fish. They belong in massive aquariums or ponds imo.

Have you ever been in a house with super narrow hallways (under 30")? Would you want to live there if you had an option?

Alright look I just figured bala sharks might be feasible obviously I was wrong a 150 gallons would be much better then their usual doom a 20 gallon tank. But what other larger schooling fish are there and not tinfoil barbs I hate them. Blue poached are. Rarely seen loach with a max side of 8 inches they are also called blue botia and red tailed blue poach

Maybe a few threadfin heckelI or a few pindare

Not so much a schooling fish but you get a few together and they get really nice colours. Peaceful too

You can even add bosemanI rainbows and/or Denison barbs. Both have great colour
