I like breeding them. It's hard sometimed because the reproduce so fast. Maybe one I would hope to be a supplier. I look for unique coloring and patterns and the most plain female. It just need multiple tanks or bigger ones...lol!!

I have a couple of male guppies that like to change their colors. It's pretty cool!

My favorite guppy died. He's was a beautiful, fancy, tuxedo guppy. I think I posted a pick. Was hoping my female had some of his babies. We'll have to wait and see. He was exquisite for a local pet store find.

As much as I love keeping guppies I think I am gonna have to give up the idea of breeding them for now. I do not have the capacity or space to hold them. It take several tanks to proper breed them or they will out breed the biological filter of the tank they are in. I much as I love the playfulness and color of the breed I am thinking of keeping a new type of fish. Not sure yet but they won't be love bearers. Any suggestions? This is the tank they will be kept in

if you like guppies, but don't want to breed them, you could keep males only :)

I do an on keeping a few of the makes but am still thinking of trying a new breed of fish. I don't think I could ever fully give up guppies. They are too much fun!
