Just got the Dalmation Molly

Just brought home the molly! can anyone tell if it is a male or a female?

 

I can't tell from that picture. Can you get a clearer picture of the fins on the underside of its body?

Beautiful fish, I've had a few before, they are fun, but all of mine turned black after about a year =/ I'm not sure if that is unusual or if that is the norm for the Dalmatians.

To give you an idea of the difference between male and female heres a picture of two of my cremesicle mollies.




If you look closely in the picture, you can see the males fin is kinda pointy and the females is fanned out.
