Believe it or not, the picture doesn't do them justice. They are even more colorful in person if they are fed the right food. And they get long flowing fins.

I voted for the Marthae hatchet....That fish is BEAUTIFUL! Not only do I like the color but the body style is so COOL!

Oops, I'd forgot you could vote twice! I only voted for Common hatchet and not both... I really need to find a convenient and unpainful method of eating myself alive... But if any kind of hatchet wins - I'm offering to write the article.

Hatchet, I can't imagine the wealth of knowledge you have on hatchets.

 

I vote the silvers and the congo. the silver picture there isn't really good, but I have some in my tank, and they are gorgous.

Ohh, guess it was the part where you added " even though this is a charicin poll", that got me confused. It sounded to me that you did not put the congo tetra in the class with characids. Which was pretty strange to me, since you are the one that put the Charicid poll together and added the tetras to the list as well.
I just couldnt figure it out.. thanks for clearing that up for me.
