29 Gallon Tank Joy!!

I haven't the slightest idea where to put this but I really wanted to share a small moment of triumph.

My danios are so happy they were chasing each other around the tank in full breeding colors this morning...beautiful. I do kind of need to get another female, LOL - apparently I only have one girl and seven guys.
The new Peppered Cories (I replaced the ones I got before because they were kind of listless and would only eat the shrimp pellets as opposed to vacuuming like they're supposed to - I think it was bad stock, two had kinked tails too) in quarantine are active and munching happily at the NLS pellets I bought for my danios, meaning they'll do their job when placed in the main.
And I...probably shouldn't have yet, but I bought two very young German Blue Rams from the Petsmart when I got the cories yesterday, and they were (HURRAY!) going out to breakfast with their QT buddies this morning. I am aware it can be hard to get them to eat depending on where they came from but these two apparently will also eat the NLS pellets. I think they're both boys, but it doesn't matter; I can't breed them with my tap's pH values anyway. They seem cheerful, if a little shy.
The Colony BB appear to be working. The values in the QT are good.
I am so happy I could cry. Wish my little guys luck!

Pictures? Cories are lots of fun, I love mine. Congrats on the Rams. Sounds like you're going to have a nice tank. I'm glad you're QTing everything first! Good Job!

Haha, thank you. Yeah, the cories are adorable, and I'm very excited to be able to put everyone together in a few weeks.
I was nervous about the rams but I dropped just a little more food in there (they're slower eaters than the cories, who were initially hogging it all) and just watched them. They began to pick up some new iridescence just in the time I was watching, and they're eating like pigs. The smallest ram even has an attitude - he's literally shoving around cories twice his weight to keep them away from 'his' food LOL

I'll get pictures as soon as I get the QT water to decloud. I was giving the cories a couple of Omega One shrimp pellets but them things really make the water cloudy, especially since they're too big for the little guys to simply swallow. They have to work on them for a while as they soften.

EDIT: Sorry, can't post photos of them until they go in the main. I don't have a light for my QT tank and my camera's having awful issues with that. The red focusing aid light is scaring the rams, anyway.
