Could some go in a 43g? Is there any other cichlids that could do well in there?

The only one suitable for my tank is Electric Yellows, which I already know I am going to get. Is there any other dwarf cichlids I should research?

I have Clown Plecos with on my African Cichlid tank. They get up to 3" to 3.5" max. Some places are kinda hard to find but I found 2 one day at a LFS and took them without thinking about it cuz they are rare here.

Should I ask my LFS to order some in? Most of the catfish at my LFS are really small.

They may look really small but that doesn't mean they will stay small. If you are looking for small plecos or catfish you need to do research so you know exactly what do you want and that fits your water parameters. Planet catfish is a great source of info. Warning there's a lot of fish that may look alike but they may be different species and could grow up to 18".

Here is the link.
