Okay this is my first RAOK so I hope I do this right lol. What is up for grabs is 5 4.5 month old male guppies 1 snakeskin 1 high black/yellow 3 fire fins. I will ship them priority $17 or express $ 37 winner pays shipping. They will be shipped in breather bags in a medium shipping box with newspaper and Styrofoam. I want to know if you had $100 mil what would you use it for and why? The contest ends July 22, 2012

4. give my house a total makeover, including built-in tanks in the basement

9. start a business
10. some shopping
11. invest the rest

Thanks for a great RAOK!

If I had that much money, I think I would:

Pay off debts, including house.
Get investment advice so that I could be secure for life, eg buy insurance, property, etc,
Pay debts for relatives, and
Use all of the rest to help foster kids and the homeless. Maybe start a foundation that would self fund itself, like a benevolence fund at church, or a self-governing foundation that would self perpetuate itself and meet the needs of the needy.

 

I'd spend it responsibly, like MC Hammer did...

 

First, I would donate all the money needed to bring my old k-8 school back in service. It was a catholic school and the nuns couldn't afford to keep it going any longer.

I would then rebuild the baseball field I used to play at when I was a kid. I learned to play the sport I now love at that very park. It's run down now. No fence. Weeds everywhere. The dirt is pretty much gone now and it's used as a parking lot for the neighborhood.

Next, I would rebuild the boys and girls club I spent my childhood in. It is now abandoned. I lived in a neighborhood in San Francisco so I feel like the kids out there need it more than I did.

The last chunk would go to family and some investments I would like to make.

I would love to have the guppies but I have no room for them. I just wanted to share!

 

I would buy a large area of land and turn it into a motorsport park. I would build a road course, a drag strip, a circle track and have some trails thru the woods for fourwheeling and or rally cross and of course build a house and a huge garage.By that time I am sure the money would be gone so then I just have to make money from the property. I don't want the guppies but I just figured it would be fun to share.

Okay 1 more day than we will a winner but before who that has enter and said something is in the running for the 5 handsome guys

 

Build a 100,000 gallon arapaima tank as my floor in my dream home.

 

I don't want the fish, but I would like to clarify my entry. For those of you who don't know who MC Hammer was, he was a rapper in the early 1990's who shot to superstardom and success and had millions upon millions of dollars. Then he spent it all and went bankrupt.

So he didn't actually spend it responsibly.
