So I found out the fish I purchased was a Jellybean cichlid (So much for Petsmart, mistaking it for a Blood Parrot). So do U guys have any info on these fish like tempermant, size, habits etc. Plus will these guys eat cichlid pellets cause he doesn't seem to eat the flakes I give him.

These are dyed blood parrots, I think.

You may want to consider returning it. There are ethical concerns with dyed fish, but also, they tend to be weak because of the process of coloring them.

I don't think he's dyed. He's all white and a juvenile like an inch long.

Good afternoon,

The name Jelly Bean has been applied to Bloody Parrots that have been dyed.

Too, a cross between a Male Pink Convict and a female Bloody Parrot is also called a Jelly Bean.

Hello Yonatanig and Welcome to Fish Lore!

I'm moving your post to create a thread of it's own so it gets the attention it deserves. This thread is a couple of months old.
