That video of the rainbowfish in the 125 just made me decide on my next school of rainbows. Now I must find the yellow rainbows. Are they rare?

No, they're on aquabid pretty regularly. They're just like turquoise.

Once I choose a direction I'll start thinking about specifics.

Largemouth bass.

haha do not get my dad started on that... he and I love fishing and up here in the finger lakes all we do is bass fishing.. he is always threatening to drop a largemouth in my 29 to devour my rummynoses. and I tell him if you want a largemouth let me get a 120 gallon

Though the specifics may help me choose a direction....

Yeah, I quoted myself.

There I go arguing with the OP again

Like a boss.

Do you want big or small?!

Yes, that's the direction.....

I think I want to go big. I've decided against africans - I've got colorful, active tanks. Maybe a pair of large fish.

you should do a native fresh water fish like bluegill they are probably my dream tank a whole tank full of bluegill 10+ of them would be sweet

You know if I was going to do native fish, I would keep a crappie.

You could have all sorts of fun with their names too!

They grow super fast I think you get to enjoy them faster. Have you seen the pictures of the growth rate on mine?

No I haven't.

I really want a dovii, but that's going to have to wait till I get another 6 foot tank, which is not going to happen here.

I think I'm going to get like 10 and keep a pair.

This is when I first got him

Here he is now. Not even 6 months. He's about 8-10 inches.
