I do not have a clue, I have never seen anything like that but I am sure others have. Welcome to the forum and glad you joined us. Is it any where else in the tank? Do you know what the parameters of your water in the tank are? ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and PH? They might help others to figure out what it is. Alison:;hi1

That looks like the fungus that grows on new driftwood and fake plants sometimes. Never seen it on a real plant. If it is the same, it will go away fast. If that is what it is, described like it looks like "ghost jello".

You might want to change the title of your thread to "What is this growing on my java moss?". You would probably get more responses that way. Or "Can anyone ID what is growing on my java moss?".......Alison
