Funny Java Fern

Does anyone ever see Java fern grow? Like actually grow a new mature leaf from a baby one, and like in a short amount of time. I have 3 java fern, two normal, one windelov, they were there for like 3 months, they did spread a few new leaves, but none of the leaves are matured yet. I have around medium light with CO2 injection. I am very confused.

 

Honestly, no. New growth just kinda appears when I'm not looking. Like I don't see new growth, but it gets bushier so it must be growing? Haha

 

I have 2 different types of java fern. The skinnier longer version and the normal thick and big leaves one. They both grow crazy.

Do you add ferts? Lighting WperL or Lumen? No that it needs many, but I have to constantly cut the stuff or it gets too bushy! The new leaves are light green with a clear tip normally.

Ya, my tank's high tech. Ya the new leaves do have clear tips, and I've only seen a few leaves out of my 3 java fern that doesn't have the clear tip anymore but aren't mature yet.

Yeah, that's my experience too. I bought this Windelov with either melt or potassium deficiency, anyway, looked pretty bad. I was waiting for new leaves so I can cut the ugly ones off, and I'd watch those baby leaves on the tips of the stems impatiently, and they seemed to show 0 progress. Then one day I realize it already has enough nice new leaves.
