Java Fern has something on the leaves

I can't tell if this is a new plant root or if something is wrong.
I am new to this type of plant is this normal to have growing on the leaf, any help would be appreciated thank you

That's how Java Ferns reproduce. The baby ferns will eventually break free from the parent plant & become floaters.

Babies!!

They will break free and make new plants or you cn remove them yourself.

ok, I tried clipping the parent leave in half a tied it to driftwood in the tank hopefully I get good plants, thank you for the info.
That's how Java Ferns reproduce. The baby ferns will eventually break free from the parent plant & become floaters.
thank you I left one of the leaves attached to the parent plant to watch the natural prosses,
