Noticed that one of my Java Fern plants is growing this red color thing on its leaves with tiny hairs on it....should I be worried?

My other Java Fern plants didn't have this. It just grow more leaves from the leaves, but not red.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Nope, nothing to worry about. That's the roots of a baby java fern. They grow off of the tips of the leaves. The reddish fuzzy part is the roots. When the baby plants get 4-5 leaves you can gently pull them off and put them somewhere else if you want to.

I just noticed the other java plants do have red fuzzy roots also. Peace of mind achieved, thanks! ;)

That's awesome! I thought they were some type of algae and I've been ripping them off the leaves of my java fern.
