My female clown pleco, Stripey is a scaredy "cat" She hides all the time...I think it's b/c she was in with my Africans.
Never have small timid fancy plecos with African cichlids. They all got beaten up...I feel horrible about it. It's one thing I have learned about my types of fancy plecos.
I don't think we really need plecos with african cichlids...ever see a mbuna eating algae off the glass. Like someone pressing their face up against a window.

But all of my plecos hide, except my rubbernose(for some reason).

Algy used to hide a lot but recently he came out during the day specially if there was food around! My leopard sailfin hid the first 3/4 days after that he forgot the meaning of 'hide', lol! And my queen arabesque is starting to come out more now that there aren't any other plecos to bother him!

Hey you said it man! They even nipped my common pleco's (Algy) fins!

My Mbunas never ate algae, that the reason I got algy.

2 weeks left. 35 votes. That is pretty good, but it could still be better.

Do you mean the zebra pleco?
Tom

Even though it seems that the zebra pleco is going to win, the poll is not over. You still have about 8 days left to get a choice in the fish you want to learn about.

Well, am biased. I love minI corys, so I voted dwarf corys. Just so I know, are we talking hastatus or pygmaeus?

What do you mean?

when you edit your signature, there's a button with a small 'A', a slash and a larger 'A' with an underline in the upper right corner of the editing box, above the favorite smilies. That toggles you back & forth between html mode so that you can insert html code, like the link to the picture.

I voted dwarf cory cause that's the only one of the options I have, and I just love the little guys. Would you focus on a specific species or do an overview of all three of them?

Since there is very little I can get of one type, I would probably do all three and just have the range a little larger then with just the one if the needs are a different for each one.

Well, I would have never thought this would have happened, the dwarf cory won. So the article will be written about the dwarf cory.

Oh you're right, for some reason when I posted it hadn't updated the poll so dwarf cory had less votes.
