Welcome to the second half of the GSAS meeting season! First up, we have Canada's Spencer Jack as our January speaker.
Spencer is a true cichlidiot, having worked with cichlids (and other fish) for over thirty years. His passions for fish have lead him to collecting on four continents and spoken at countless numbers of aquarium clubs. He has an abundance of material, plenty of hands-on experience in the field as well as in fish breeding, has great photos, lots of new information, and a very entertaining way of presenting this all.
Spencer is also an active hobbyist within the Canadian aquarium hobbyist community, having co-founded the Aquarium Society of Winnipeg and founded the Canadian Cichlid Association. He also owns and operates a tropical fish business.
Spencer's talk is "Collecting Gymnogeophagus Sp. and other cool fishes in Uruguay". After the presentation, join us for our Monthly Auction. Plus, welcome our new committee chairs for 2023!
