I've been given a tank!!

My neighbour has given me a 38 (US) gallon tank and stand, with filters, heaters, air pumps, gravel, ornaments, nets, hatchery cleaning rods, hoovers, testing kits etc as he no longer wishes to keep fish. He has always kept fish and they have all died of old age.

It will all need a really good clean but wow, feels like christmas!!

No Not yet.Schooling fish probably. I love barbs and black widow tetras. Is fun to have a new tank

That's great to hear You'll have so much fun setting up the tank. I love setting up tanks! Barbs are beautiful fish. I personally have 6 Cherry Barbs and I LOVE them. They're extremely peaceful (the most peaceful of all barbs I think) - they're perfect for a freshwater community tank. They're also very beautiful, especially matured males - they're such beautiful vivid red color. They love live plants too

 

Sounds wonderful!! .. and that is a nice size tank too! What a nice neighbor you have... lucky for you.

 

I think you should send the tank here since it is US gallons and you're not in the US. :;a

sure thing! come on over.. you might have a hard time getting the pony through airport security though.. even with a clever disguise.

why not some swordtails, some yoyo loaches, and some cherry barbs
