    Good morning fish lovers
    Happy 4th of July everyone
I know I were suppose to rehome my long fin danios but I havnt yet and also add 6 new fish
3 tiger barbs and 3 green barbs
They were chasin the danios at first but everything seems to cool down
I know I have to rehome the danios soon and should have before I got these 6 new fish

Can I add more tiger barbs next week?
Or or should wait till I rehome them

Also. When a fish are chasing another fish. Does that mean she wants to show she's dominate or is it some kind of fish tag?

I would wait until you rehome just to be safe <3

And when fish chase eachother its mostly a territorial thing, but you never know maybe there playing some tag m8 :;dogrun

    What size tank is this?
  5. Ilovefish3sValued MemberMember

It's a 30G buddy. You helped me before on stocking Advice

I'd rehome the danios as soon as possible. After you do that, you can add more barbs!

Do you have anything else in the tank other than the danios and the barbs?

barbs are notorious fin nippers arnt they? i would rehomed the danio's before bringing the barbs home. Maybe a local LFS would offer in-store credit?

Yep I've tried my lfs .. I'll call a few more to see.
My barbs ain't nipin their fins now
Only think that's in the tank are 3 green barbs. 3 tiger barbs and 6 long fin danios

I think. That would be good. To be honest I called my lfs and said they could have it for free and they still wouldn't take it

Try other stores. You can rehome fish on Craigslist too.

I find that odd not taking in longfin danios even for free haha, maybe theres a fear of disease that the fish might carry only thing I can think of
  16. Ilovefish3sValued MemberMember

I donnt think known for carrying diseases. My lfs is petsmart. I ask and they said no. But another store in the city would take them.

oh its a chain store try a privately owned one, when i had to rehome some of my fish i went around and found a LFS that i was comfortable giving them to

Thanks. I'll make a couple of calls. Hopefully it won't be too difficult catching them with the net

    Stocking idea for 30G

    Good morning fish lovers
Certain people have helped me out with my stocking ideas before which I was tankful for but I've messed up
I currently have 12 fish in my tank. 3 green barbs. And 3 tiger barbs and 6 danios.
I'll be rehoming the danios today after work.
I wanted to get at least one angel fish but I think the barbs might nip their fins.

    *should I increase the barbs.
*what other fish would be good tank makes for my barbs and how many
    * what bottom dwellers would be a good choice?
    *any other suggestions

IMO you should rehome the tiger barbs.. There isn't much you can add with them
